12.4 Repairing the Software

• Insert the DVD-ROM into your PC’s DVD drive.

The installation procedure starts automatically: It detects the presence of the programs and prompts you:

– either to “Add” a new map set.

– or to “Repair” the existing installation.

– or to “Remove” the existing software installation from your PC.

• Tick “Repair” then click “Next”.

• Click “Finish” to close the window.

• Disconnect the USB cable from your PC then from your ViaMichelin Navigation X-970.

12.5 Removing the Software

• Insert the DVD-ROM into your PC’s DVD drive

The installation procedure starts automatically. It detects the presence of the programs and prompts you:

– either to “Add” a new map set.

– or to “Repair” the existing installation.

– or to “Remove” the existing software installation from your PC.

• Tick “Remove” and click “Next”.

• Click “Yes” to confirm that you want to delete the programs or “No” to return to the previous screen.
